The MuseoApp Immenstadt comprises three extensive augmented reality experiences in the immediate vicinity of the imperial residence.
In the Allgäuer Bergbauernmuseum, the app makes it possible to experience both the past and the present, first hand. From a virtual cowbell concert to exciting treasure hunts and historical flashbacks, young and old alike can learn about the life and history of the Allgäu farmers and explore exciting topics.
Meanwhile, in the historic old town in the town centre, the MuseoApp Immenstadt invites visitors to take a stroll along a path of discovery and find out more for themselves about the historical sites and the history surrounding the Salzstraße.
The fact that there has always been a great inventive spirit in the “little town” of Immenstadt is strikingly visible in the Museum Hofmühle. There too, the MuseoApp Immenstadt opens up numerous opportunities to experience modern technology from the past with the latest technology of today. With videos, overlays and a wealth of content, the museum challenges explorers of all ages to delve deeper into fascinating subjects than was ever before possible.
