In 1774, Christian Moritz von Königsegg-Rothenfels had a count’s riding school built on this site, atop the remains of the burn site, which directly adjoined the Immenstadt town wall.
In 2006, the building was thoroughly renovated by the town and converted into the Literaturhaus. Today, the listed building is home to the town library.
Behind today’s Literaturhaus, you can marvel at the preserved remains of the city walls.
