The Monastery Garden
The former parish centre served as a garden for the monastery monks to provide for themselves. The green space was used to grow vegetables and, as there were no throughfares to the outside world, the garden ensured prescribed seclusion for the monks. Some time ago, there was once a wooden pavilion and a bowling alley.
After the town of Immenstadt acquired the monastery garden, it was transformed into a publicly accessible green space with four entrances in 1986. Today, the highly frequented „green island of recuperation in the middle of the city“ is very popular with locals for whiling away the time, and remains as inviting now as it ever was.
The splashing fountain
The focal point of the park is the splashing fountain, which was built in 1988 by the artist Bonifatius Stirnberg of Aachen. He was inspired by the diverse animal world that was at home in the garden of the former monastery, which is why butterflies, snails, beetles and especially sparrows can be seen on the fountain, bearing witness to his observations.

Entenbrunnen
The drinking fountain in the north-west of the park was also built by Stirnberg in 1988.
